Who Should Participate

This contest is designed for higher-level academic students and researchers. It's your chance to make a meaningful contribution to the field of DfAM (Design for Additive Manufacturing) while competing for fantastic prizes and recognition.

Eligibility Criteria

Open to all students with an Educational License on our app.

Submission Requirements

  • Submissions will be accepted anytime between January 24th, 2024 (12:00AM ET) to March 1st, 2024 (12:00AM ET)
  • One entry per student
  • Must follow the submission criteria described below

Judging

The designs will be judged based on the following criteria:
Innovation: Does the design show creative thinking? Does it stand out compared to other designs? Is the idea unique and original?
Design: Is the design printable? Will the design be suitable for the function it is intended for? How practical is the design?
Metafold Functionality: Was Metafold functionality used to improve and enhance the design?

Prizes

All prizes in USD, will be delivered to the winning participants via amazon gift card (winners will select amazon region.)
Winner of 1st place will additionally have their design printed by EOS and be invited to discuss their design in a blog post on the metafold3d.com website which will be publicized through our marketing efforts on LinkedIn.
